BioHi everyone. I'm Stevie. I'm 27, I'm a Miyavi fan, I've lived back and forth between Japan and America for a long time now, and I'm also a concert junkie who has seen hundreds of live shows in her life - including around 30 of Miyavi's.
I made this livejournal account on a whim - it was barely still Miyavi's 25th birthday, and I was holed up in an internet cafe after his birthday live, nearly bursting with the excitement and emotion of the concert. I started this account specifically to review that show - both to preserve the memories for myself, and to share the experiences with Miyavi fans around the world. I had no idea if anyone would read it or not, but I had to write it all down.
Recently I'm proud to have joined the team at MasaKarasu - an amazing website and LJ community dedicated to this talented artist - as an assistant translator for Miyavi's blog entries. Jess, the translator proper (miyabina_hime) is not only a dear friend of mine, but a talented linguist, and so I'm excited to be both helping her and learning from her while at the same time improving my own language skills, and most importantly, helping Miyavi's voice reach his supporters across the globe! I'm also really eager to meet other Miyavi fans from all over the world - now that he's touring internationally, I'm sure that a lot more of us have some amazing thoughts and experiences to share.
